With over 20 years’ experience in Banco Santander, Amaya previously spent over ten years on the Structured Finance team at SCIB (investment bank).

She has since led Human Resources TEAMS, providing a strategic vision and expert advice, as well as implementing corporate procedures and policies.

In 2020, Amaya was appointed Head of HR & Organization for Europe and in 2021 as Head of HR & Organization for Spain, and today she fulfils the dual function of both positions.

She studied Law and Business Administration and Comillas Pontifical University ICADE in Madrid.

She speaks Spanish, English, German and French. She is married and has five children.
