Beatriz Corredor

Graduate in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1991 and Property and Commercial Registrar since 1993 (currently on leave of absence). She has completed advanced studies such as the Senior Management Programme and the Women on Boards of Directors Programme, both at IESE Business School.

She has been chairperson of the Red Eléctrica Group since 2020. In her public career, she was Minister of Housing and President of the Public Business Land Entity, SEPES; Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Development; councillor for Madrid City Council and advisor of the Municipal Housing and Land Company, as well as a member of the Congress of Deputies.  

She is currently Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, as well as a member of the Advisory Board of Woman in a Legal World (WLW) and of the Advisory Board of Women Action Sustainability (WAS).

She was also Director of Institutional Relations of the Association of Registrars and President of the Pablo Iglesias Foundation. Her experience as an associate professor at Nebrija University, IE University and at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid also stands out. She has received, among other awards, Grand Cross of the Order of Charles III.
