Virginia Feito was born in Madrid in 1988, and has lived in Paris, London (where she studied English Literature and Drama at Queen Mary University of London and developed her love for gothic literature and theatre), New York, and once again in Madrid, where she studied Publicity at the Miami Ad School.

She has worked for major publicity agents and won awards at national and international festivals.

In 2018, she decided to leave it all to write her first novel in English: Mrs March. The book is being translated into several languages and has prompted a copyright auction in the United States.

Published in 2021, it was one of the books of the year according to ‘Library Journal’ and ‘The Times’, and is a Sunday Times bestseller. Blumhouse Productions is adapting it for the big screen along with Elizabeth Moss, who will play the main character. Critics in the US have compared Feito to Patricia Highsmith, Hitchcock, and Shirley Jackson.
